Wow, that\'s kind of... retarded.

Aluminum dog tags: £1
GW copyrighted material stamped on them: £9
Looking like a twat wearing them: priceless.....

hehe :)

Also - I don\'t think SM\'s would bother.
The geneseed would probably do as well, and I SEVERELY doubt the chapter master bothers to write a letter of condolence to the family lol

WTF? Why in the name of the Monkee Gods would anyone not in a situation where their ass might get blown into little bitty pieces want to wear dogtags?

Especially GW Dogtags.

Well i do not think space marines have any need for anything like dogtags; a marine recieves hais suit of power armor after he completes scout training. It is a hand-crafted unique piece that the marine keeps for the whole duration of his service (unless he changes into tactical dreadnought armor or an other armor type). So I would think any marine can be identified by his armor. Maybe scouts, whose armor is not personified, would wear personal identification of some sort, but i am not sure seard scouts recieve any form of individual poshumous honors like real marines do.

Makes sense?

What amazes me is that given the weaponary in the 40K universe and how it can melt/explode/disintergrate or otherwise take out whole cities etc wtf would be the point of dog tags anyway. The chance of finding a body part with the dog tags on it would be extremely remote as would actually finding a body part probably.

Pssst. They aren\'t real FYI. :drunk:

I actually used to own an IG dog tag from back when it was Bulldog Buckle. Pretty heavy kind of pewter stuff, not thin aluminium sheeting. Nice stuff, but after a year or so, the chain actually grinds through the hole in the tag... plus the pewter does leave stains on skin/clothing.

If I see any teenagers wearing that I will give them a knock for ya ;) While we\'re generalizing, there\'s enough morbidly obese adults you see at GDs decked out with GW attire, at least the same as them damn kids.

Yup - never understood that either. Just remember though, if you do get a set wear one tag on your boot - that way if you get BTFU they can put the pieces back together in the box.:D

So i went in to my local GW a few weeks ago and they gave me a free set of dog tags....... could i actually sell them for a buck or two? and on the topic of spehs mehrines wearing dog tags, you\'d think that with all the fancy equipment and technology, they could have identification built into their armor or something, am i right??????????
