Really big Spyglass?

Hey people of the forums

Just a thought that\'s been rumbling about in my, somewhat scarmbled, mind of late.

What would you think about a real large scale model release from Spyglass? Not talking 54mm figures here (that\'ll happen eventually anyway) but larger still.

120mm or 200mm or something along those lines. Can\'t give any details on materials or prices (this is just a few random thoughts at the mo).

Fire away if you so desire.

That would be very cool. I find myself drawn to large resin kits now and again, they present a different challenge. I would love to see what magic you can produce at a larger scale!!! GO FOR IT!

Is this a 120mm tall figure in 28-30mm scale (a really big monster) or a person in 120mm scale?

If the former, I\'m likely to get it. I\'ll probably pass on a 120mm scale piece.

Sounds pretty interesting, did you have anything in mind right now??
I would love to paint a larger mini, it would be nice not to have to use my magnifier headset for once.......oh and a nice hunky buff scantly clad male Adonis wouldn’t be to hard on the old eyes..hint, hint.

First off the clarification: I\'m talking about a large scale model not a giant 28mm figure.

No real plans for what I\'d do yet. 200mm would probably be the top size I\'d go for.

Considering my experiences with Spyglass to late I should probably do a female figure to keep the sales up (unless anyone thinks a 200mm Kage Dar would sell better than the little one )

This all said I do like the idea of doing a massive dragon figure. Mainly because I can\'t stand the new Forgeworld one.

hummm....a dragon sounds neat, I personally would like to see a beastie with some character, maybe a hoary shrewd dragon with decades of clashes, covered in battle scars, perhaps missing a part or two, but still a creature to be feared.

Surely to God, there are enough dragons out there to satisfy even the most ardent dragon fan???

I think there might be a market for a range of busts, Forgeworld\'s seem to do reasonably well, but they are constrained to GW fluff...

I love the Orc busts that Forgeworld do and also the Rackham one. I agree with Finn (yes, you heard right Mr Finn!) and something with character would be cool

What are you going to cast it in? Resin or metal? If you do resin you can possibly open up your marketing to include garage kit builders.

no no no! A bust! Please! A bust! I\'m really interested in painting one of those, and would be very likely to buy it if you made one. Whatever you do at this scale, include lots of intricate details to have fun with. No offence meant, but I always find your minis a bit \"plain\" though I know many appreciate that.

Speaking as an ardent dragon fan, you can never have too many dragons.

I\'d probably buy one. However, some other sort of monster type would be interesting to see too.

Nope, I\'m sure Kat would be thrilled with a full-sized dragon. Only problem is, I think the Dragon\'s appetite would certainly be an issue with a little kitty-kat running around

True, and I\'d have to look for a local cave or convert my garage into a dragon den. lol I don\'t think the council would approve unfortunately.

Probably wont do a bust. I\'ve nothing against busts but I think a full figure would be more appealing for me to sculpt.

Not sure about resin or metal. Depends on the size and subject (if it\'s a 200mm figure then it\'s probably not ideal for metal)
