Really Old School Models!!

Yesterday I picked up a box of old GW models being told that \"They are a bit old\". But I did\'nt think they would be this \'Old School\'.

First, some 40K rulebooks, which are in perfect condition. And some old Space Marines and Orks.

Second, some Dwarfs and Chaos Dwarfs, which are pretty cool.

And something I really like, and hope to paint. A Chaos \'Jester\' looking guy.

Hope this stuff brings back some memorys for you older guys and girls out there.
I dont know what Im going to do with it all, it would be ashame to thow it away. So if enyones interested let me know :).....stu.....

Some hella old stuff there stu, most of them look to be eighties models. I am glad the plastic marines and orks and like that any more.

I remember painted 60 of the orks and 100 of those gretchin

Very cool collection of minis. I remember that Chaos Jester guy from an old White Dwarf, issue 100 I think, maybe one of the even earlier ones. He was always on my \'must buy if I see it list\'. The type of list everyone used to keep before the internet and online shopping.

The other mini that really caught my eye is the one from the Dwarf Lords of Legends that has a helmet with a smaller version of himself on it and that has a helment with a smaller version of that guy on it etc. I\'ve liked that one since I first saw it on Cidatdel Combat Cards.

Now the Marines and Orks I woudln\'t call Old School, they aren\'t tan Beakies afterall.

Overall very cool lot of stuff.

Some nifty stuff there to be certain but I don\'t think anything with a slotta base can really be called \'old-school\'. :drunk:

Those Chaos Warriors are probably the best thing in the box, though those Orcs aren\'t bad either. Nice find.

They\'re not Eldar though - just WHFB high Elves aren\'t they?

I\'ve got a bunch of old RT marines I got from the market to start ... :p

Those aren\'t Eldar. They are Elves. I think it is a Tirianic(check spelling please) Chariot. The 40K stuff isn\'t that old. It is only from \'93. The other miniatures are really old. Good score all around.

It is actually the \"elven attack chariot\" fom GWs mid 80th \"Machineries of Destruction\" series. Picked one up for 40 euros on ebay 2 years ago. Sorry to say that yours seem to be a tad damaged (the wizard should habe some bird on his fist)

Two seperate photos contain the riders from the ltd release of Jake and Hellwood, the one is gold painted and I think the other looks like it has been primed black heavily.

Strip them and hang onto them and if you can find the horses for them and the foot figures you are onto a winner :D

The Elf chariot is the 80\'s one if I remember the box had a story on it as well to add to the background fluff of it.

If I was at home I could probably id most of that stuff for you but being away at the moment means all my ref material is about 8,000 miles away.

Blasphemy. You young\'un. Not like I\'m that old, but I got into it \'92 or so, and I\'m 25 now. The old sculpts had a lot more character. I just picked up 23 classic space Orks for $50 off the \'bay. I\'m super stoked, as only 4 of them were doubles.

That\'s awesome. Throwback to when mini\'s had character, they will add some variety to what you have now for sure.

I can remember seeing people play with those space marines and orks when I first started
