Really impressive sculpting skills mate. You've managed to get some really great movement into the horses. I think the Elven standard bearer is probably my favorite though, great armour, dynamic pose brilliant. Some great skin details and muscle mass on the big beasty as well but I'm not to sure on the head or front paws at the moment (although obviously still a WIP) The eyes look a bit too low in my opinion and I think it's throwing the sculpt off a little for me at the moment. Maybe try angling the lunging leg a little as well it may help to get some more force into the blow? Not sure?

Thanks for ypur compliments and comments. In point of the beast and its low eye..., it is common in Bharngstarm where many things are different, unnatural, distorted. It mismatches our expectations. Eye is unnaturally located on the underside of the skull just above the mouth is due to the different internal structures of the beast. And in addition to it this beast, at least from the outside, looks very'mundanely'. You will see much more insane monster in a few weeks ;-). Well, as you said, it is still WIP. Perhaps I can reveal the beast is already done, but you will have to wait until August 14 to see it. It will be officially unveiled that day as a part of the finished vignette and all freebie figures (only without the secret one). I think when you see the result ... well, I do not anticipate it ....:)

The foot... it's quite complicated. First of all - it has already been slightly adapted. Partially it was about to achieve impression as in the photo below plus the beast can use heels to walk (almost like human) and front paws can use like a bear.

The beast can move along hinders and there is an opposable thumb on its front legs so it’s close to primate anatomy. Although it is mainly used as a quadruped animals within light cavalry. Its ability to walk on rears makes them truly versatile and very dangerous tools of war in some combat situations. Therefore the rider is engrossed with chains to the saddle. The rider may, however, release a lock to jump off anytime, for example if the beast was fatally injured. Well, killin’ these beasties is really quite hard

The beast in the vignette is lifting its front paws, standing up (see its hind legs), and catching horse's torso and neck and gritting and fastening teeth into the horse neck. It can be clearly enough seen on the finished sculpt. However, if there are any doubts after the presentation there still will be enough time for any further adjustments :).

Thank you very much for seeing it and for your comments. They are very welcome.

Cheers Borek (sculptor)

Today we are going to bring you a list of posts for our drive up pre-campaign from 14 August till 14 September, when our IGG campaign is about to start.

That's it, I am going to look at Indiegogo now, I want those minis.

Thanks, you will be welcomed to our campaign :)

Hi CMoN Adventurers :)

We bring you WIP of fourth bonus figure - the Bharngstarm heavy warrior.

This is the last WIP before the start of our drive up pre-campaign. It will begin on August 14th by the exposal of whole vignette. We are very curious about your reactions. Last month before the campaign starts on Indiegogo we will turn not only new figures but also enchasing details and upgrade of the vignette - BTW - promised at the end of June.

Like the previous figure this one is also the freebie bonus figure - for those who choose the vignette bundle perk. The figure is also Indioegogo exclusive only. To refresh your memory we attach a list of figures of the vignette including concepts and its description here:

Borek thank you for taking the time to write a reply to my post and im sorry I haven't responded sooner. Clearly from seeing your other sculpts you know what you're doing. I guess I'm basing my critique on animals from the real world and I salute you for doing something different. This is shaping up to be an amazing miniature line and I look forward to painting them.

Concept and WIP coming soon:)

Astarnain – the Great Ortiniastor

Great Ortiniastor (the great army law interpreter, field judge and executioner)

View attachment 40995

Astarain was the second most powerful man in the Dark Kworgs empire. He was in his function of the top Ortiniastor almost 2000 years. Amthirneall, his predecessor, died in the battle of Wartinhein. The Dark Kworgs fought in this battle with the aliance of Argerian Kworgs and the Alhratt kingdom.
Astarnain was a really powerful man. The Ortiniastor function was ment only for the army activities, but the Dark Kworgs took a part in many wars for a long long time, so they needed this man very much and he was given by a great power and respect. Even Graetsnal, the ruler of the Dak Kworgs, was scared of the great power of this Ortiniastor. The Ortiniastor was the great commander of his own army, called the Guard of the Death Shadows. Formally, this guard was under the command of Lord Graetsnal, but the soldiers respected only Astarnain as their commander. Their loyalty was wonderful and crossed the borders of the death shadows. The death shadows – empire of afterlife, that the Kworgs believed. These soldiers were his own praetorians. But although Astarnain was very cruel and unscrupulous, he was unreservedly loyal to Lord Graetsnal. His loyalty was incontestable.
There were many life changes in our story during next years of the Great war for the Black Rose, but you will hear about them later. The Great Ortiniastor was honored many times during the battle of Irrnon-Sol Terrat – f. eg. he and his Guard fataly disrupted the military deposits of great Argerrian general Faertenien in the ancien ruins. Without his horse, he got the general ´s banner and he weakened his section so much, that the Bharngstarm light cavalry and the heavy man-at-arms unites defeated Faertenien men very easily. During this Beasts of Bharngstarm attack died the general of Argerra too. Our vignette with the battle of Irrnon-Sol Terrat theme, shows the last moments of his life.
Our new figurine shows Astarnain at the moment when he lifts the trophy – standart of Argerra – high above his head.

Have a nice day

Daniela and A-Team :)

Hi CMoN Warlords

KS vs. IGG

Do you prefer Kickstarter and do you have any reservations Indiegogo? So, this post ist just for you. We have prepared some steps to mitigate the differences between these two platforms to bring to the Kickstarter fans the maximum comfort and security when participating in our campaign at IGG.

And even second tasting of the new figures for our campaign today...

Elrainia Strikes

Elrainia, the combat girl of Argerra, the Mistress of "Arkies", reconnaissance, marauding squad composed of Kworgian women only, will fight in this little vignette with the rider of Bharngstarm on the eight – legs Beast.

View attachment 41067

Elrainia was one of the most successful combat girls of the Argerrian Kworgs Dusk army. She was the daughter of Faertenien ´s brother Fenrainal, so she had the task to be the Mistress of warriors due to her origin. She was not given by the strategic thinking, but she was a very valiant amazon. She has the same physical condition as a man. Elrainia ´s squad was used for reconnaissance and special secret tasks in the rear of the enemy very often. In fact, they had the similar mission as japanese medieval Ninjas.

She fought in the battle of Irrnon-Sol Terrat together with her uncle - general Faertenien. She was one of the three warriors, who managed to escape from this battle.

After general ´s death, a terrible bloody massacre started. Elrainia was badly hurt and after the blow to the head she lost consciousness for the whole day. She woke up the other day, and she had a huge stroke of luck . The Beast-warriors from Bhrangstarm decapitated many dead enemies to make the war trophies. The victorious army encamped nearby and only the Bharngstarm decapitators and the Dark Kworgs warriors went through the silent land to get some war prey. Elrainia took off her armor and she could got very discreetly to one of the fight wall gorges. She got to the opposite side of the rock wall in the darkness of the night and she escaped the battlefield this way.

In our little vignette, intended as our add-on, Elrainia fights with the Bharngstarm rider on the eight-legs beast. In the Bharngstarm dark dimension, many sorts of bigger and smaller beasts existed. These beasts were used as the transport and war animals by the dark demons warriors. Elrania fought just with such a rider on the beast a short time before her hurt and unconscious. Our little dramatic reconstruction shows her last fight.

And thirdly...

Thanks for your support, guys
Gandalf: That's a shame. But there should be an internet connection, isn't there? You just need to answer the question (accomplish task) and send an email :). I believe you can do it - the prize is quite valuable... ;-)

Thank you for your kindness, I'm going to an area where internet is very poor. I know the prize is vsluable but it's how stunning it seems to be, judging by your other sculpts. What will be will be but thank
you.
