Our second competition starts right now. As you probably know, your task is to draft a warrior of a race we will give you a Background to.

Khabrags

Are strange forest creatures. They used to live in the Grokthar empire. They maintained bizzare relationship with them. It would probably be called symbiosis. There was a strange spring in the middle of the Kthuss forest. This forest was located in the interior of the continent. The stream had a very adverse impact on its surroundings. It transformed ambient plants and animals into very strange and difficult-to-use forms. For higher beings, such as people and other races, it was fatal.
The steam was very weak, it was no more than a small trickle. It was welling up very slowly and when it appeared two hundred years, it began to transform the forest in its area. Animals and plants mutated and became nasty, wild and unmanageable. Converted animals came out from the forest and attacked cattle and humans. On the other way it turned out that this water was very beneficial for someone.

They were Khabrags - the very special race of forest creatures. Their skin looked a bit like a little cracked bark but otherwise they did not look like trees. They were similar to people, they were also about as tall as people were but their internal anatomy was very different. They had a little bit longer and thicker limbs. These creatures were wandering the Illada searching for the "black water" as they used to call it. They were able to live without it was rather outliving.
While the ‘dark water’ was deadly and toxic for all other beings, it imparted great strength and ability to branch out much faster than without it. Just one sip of this liquid transformed each Khabrag from the crawling debilitated being into mighty form of life. They became full of energy with many special abilities. This effect lasted for many months.

Khabrags concluded an agreement with Grokthars. They were allowed to settle in the middle of the Grokhtar empire, I the Kthuss forest by the source of the dark water. In return the had to gather the water into tanks to stop the spreading of destruction.
Ghrokthars had tried to remedy the impact of it before but even vapors of the water had turned out to be very fatal many miles around the spring because the land was waterlogged.
Khabrags were the one and only creatures who were able to work well with the dark water even without their doom. They even got along with this dark liquid. They were able to control metamorphosed animals. The only problem was that Khabrags after ingestion of dark water (among other things) were expanded rapidly and there was no water for everyone soon enough. Some of them therefore had to move and look for another such spring in Illada.

If Khabrags had sufficienty of dark water, they were fearsome warriors. Their race was not exactly welcoming. Their substance was wild aggression. They created their own weapons and armor and they used the dark water as a chemical weapon in battles very rarely. There was always a great lack of water. Their cavalry used a mutated animals.

Dear Fantasyans


After a long and difficult deliberation, we have decided to delayed the start of the campaign

New start is determined by 48 hours later - to September 16, 11:30 PM CEST

There is still a real mountain of work ahead. We did not do absolutely everything we wanted to do – due to more than one-week delay thanks to some health issues – it still can be clearly seen.We ask all of you for your understanding. We want to be well prepared.

The vignette-diorama of ‘the Battle of Irrnon-Sol Terrat' is almost done, however, we will introduce it to you on Wednesday as part of the launch of our campaign. There is still some fine-tuning, taking photos of it and the graphic layout.

For finalization of the vignette "In the Storm of War Fratricidal" you will have to wait till the second half of the week. Within the frame of this showing we will bring you the promised WIP article on its origin during the campaign update. And – you can be sure - there is something to look forward to ;-).

We will be working on add-ons during our campaign. To its end we would like to have all the figures of campaign finished (all from the main menu), Borek even will take off for the next 30 days to work just on our project.

We will certainly not have the video trailer by wednesday. If we make it ready, we will add it into the campaign within. We are going to prepare the 360° videos of all finished figures and the whole vignette for sure. These videos will be published for the first few days of the campaign.

We attach finished Stretch goals plates. Just before the start of the campaign we will put in finished figures instead of silhouettes and drawings.

Hi all
Today we have launched our Indiegogo campaign in which you can give support to our project and help us sponsor production of our figures and de facto bring our project to the real life. During next twenty-eight days we will meet you here every day.

Our making continues. During the campaign we will bring you a lot of new materials, information, unceasing number of new WIPs including the promised WIPs, an article about the production of our vignette 'In the Storm of Fratricidal War'.



We are going to bring you historical information for each of the finished figures gradually. Every photo (taken from multiple angles) will be very detailed and of course we are also going to bring you promised 360° videos. We are going to sculpt, put finishing touches, make fine-tuning and improve. According to the original plan we will work on all unlocked add-on figures - we would like to finish them by the end of our campaign. And of course, you will learn all about the Battle of the Irrnon Sol-Terrat - a chapter new chapter will be brought you every day. We begin with those you have already known from our blog and we are going to continue with new captions.

You can expect new updates and lots of interesting information and WIPs every day.

We are working hard. We finishing main vignette and as you can see on WIPs, we are working on additional Add-on figures too. In the second half of next week we will bring you small restart of this Campaign – the finished wignette, promised videos of each finished figure plus an extensive photo gallery for each figure. You can also look forward to a lot other details, including the promised ‘WIP article’ about sculpting the 'In the Stormof Fratricidal War' vignette. This article is already being translated.

So the second half of next week will be a key moment in this crowddfunding battle. We are working very hard and we hope our work will not be wasted. Come and help us to bringour project to life :)

By then we will still meet you on the pages of our campaigns and elsewhere in the WIP updates.

When are you planning to get your artist to start painting some of these ? I think once you have examples like this it will help create more interest.

There is a minimal chance for now that we manage painting by the end of the campaign. Everything is about finances.We are not any established company and we have almost no resources-therefore we try Crowdfunding. Unless the campaign is successful, we will try to gradually molding,casting, painting and putting our figures.The first what will be painted will be probably the vignette for competition - it is now being prepared for moulding. Then we will see.Thanks for your comments and we wish everyone a nice day...

What happen if you don't get founded, will the vignette still be available? I am waiting on some cash, soon I should contribute.

Thank you very much for your interest,Yourcontributionwill be right as rain :). If thecampaignis not successful,we will try to release all figures in normal schedule. Well, for nowI cantellnospecific date for sure. It depends onmany factors.If wemanage to release the complete diorama,each piecewill have its own part ofthe base,so it will bepossible to complete it step by step.

Greetings to all!


We are sorry for the pause. The problems which we have forced and have had to deal with during last days are solved. It is unfortunately clear we are not able to succeed in this campaign. That’s why we decided to canceled it. It's just a formal act because of the IGG does not allow any cancelling. We will no longer update this campaign and so we ask any potential applicants to stop contributing.

The project does not end at all. However continuing to this campaign would run us out needlessly. It is necessary to concentrate on other things. It is crucial to sustain the project. We will try to gradually produce figures above all and offer them in our coming e-shop. We try to ensure stable and continuous production at least on a small capacity. At first we prepare the casting of our vignette ‘In the Storm of Fratricidal War’ which will be sent to the winners of the competition and then it becomes the very first product of our e-shop. Soon we will also introduce our Arkhareon club for customers of our e-shop and acquaint you with its advantages.


We will also redo our Arkhareon website in the coming weeks. This will be much more transparent and this blog (our blog) will become a real blog and the source of news. You will find all essential information, photos, stories and products just on company's website of the Arkhareon miniatures.

We will also continue with posting WIP updates of our figures on our blog and other forums. You can expect all the promised photos and videos of finished figures, WIP article and other things including brand new stuff, too.
Finally, we are preparing a new campaign, but it will be conceived differently. We will, however, tell you about that next time.

Thanks to everyone who spread our campaign and posted links and widgets to those who followed the campaign. Especially we would like to express our thanks to the one and only contributor for his following and loyalty. Thank you F.
