This is my latest mini...I had it sitting on my desk half painted for months and recently decided to just finish it off. I had intended initially to do some free-hand on the cloak, but I scrapped the idea and decided to just finish it off so it would stop staring at me.

I need to work on making my shading deeper and my highlights lighter to make my minis really pop. The metals are shaded a bit better than they look in the pic, but my camera seems to have washed the shading out a bit.

Anyway, I hope you all like it, feel free to throw me a vote. http://coolminiornot.com/252895.

Nice, as you said you have to increase you shades, especially on the leather areas to make them look more real. You also could paint the leather areas a colour quite much different from the bow to make a strong difference between the two materials.

I agree Cheelfy, thanks for your critique. I usually use a darker leather, but went lighter on this version, didn't even think of it matching the bow until after I had painted it.

Good suggestions by Cheelfy. It's painted clean and tidy with a nice base, good work! Look forward to the next ones.
