Reaper miniatures Ebonwrath

Hi folks, so I am working on ebonwrath at the moment. Officially, he is a black dragon, as he very much reflects the art work of Todd Lockwood form WOTC D&D range. But I didn't want to do him as a simple black dragon, because I already have the official old metal WOTC Black dragon from their short lived range of minis which I did as a traditional black.

So I am drawing inspiration from crocodiles and caimans to develop the colour scheme for Ebonwrath, let me know what you think, and particularly any thoughts on a good contrasting colour for the wing membranes and crest. Thinking of doing them a translucent orangy pink. The base will be swampy..

Lovely. It really does look like gator skin! Orangey pink maybe as ablaze over the yellowy green found on the crocs belly to keep them tied in.

Thanks Zab, still got a fair way to go, with the underside of the wing and the other wing will need the same treatment too, then all the finishing touches. Finally the base will be done :)
