I am with Still on this one. You pulled out some of the larger, more awesome models, and are charging twice the buy-in amount. Kind of a dick move.

why is it a dick move? selling the stuff you dont want from a set isn't exactly being a dick...

With the clockwork dragon the basic set is about the same. He can attempt to charge whatever he wants for it. If the market will take it, more power to him. Unfortunately, most of the the sets I see go for about $20 more than they cost initially.

Well since the kickstarter isn't active anymore, you can get it from him for $200 or from Reaper for $400 when it goes live. Yeah, he's doubling his money, but he's also offering a prospective buyer a 50% discount over retail.

Using your logic Reaper should sell them at roughly 10c each as they are made super cheap in China. You are extremely naive if you think everyone who joined the KS wanted to for all the miniatures.

90% of mine will be on e-bay

I cloud understand this response if we were talking about a limited edition item, in which case buying one to resell would mean someone missed the opportunity to have one at the original price. but in the case of this kickstarter the only result of buying more than you needed was it helped unlock more stretch goals.
I missed out on the kickstarter but I'll be keeping a close eye on ebay.co.uk in the hope more people are doing the same.

My comment was more than of an observation than a jab, as I thought of doing the same myself, just not at double the price. I decided against it as I think I'll paint and sell these minis. I don't plan on keeping any of them but saw it as a great opportunity to get a crap ton of minis at a decent price to paint for practice, to sell, give away, etc.

I figured there would be a surge of Reaper Bones on eBay soon after delivery was complete.
