I just saw an NMM paint set by Reaper in a local hobbyshop. Anyone has it? Your comments? Is the painting guide helpful and or is it online. Also what do you think of the kit.
Thanks

Well I have seen the kit as well. I personaly did not buy it because of the price. But that being said Anne Foerster is an incredible painter so I would think that it should be at least a little bit helpful. As for if it\'s online I just looked on the Reaper web site and did not see it.

Sorry I could not be of more help.:(

I would head on over to Reapers message boards (http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?act=idx) and ask there. For sure there are some there that bought it that lurk there. Anne too lurks there.

Sounds interesting...

I would certainly be interested. If enough people expressed an interest, perhaps the CMON shop might consider stocking them???

saw this on the doordice website yesterday. Looked really good but I was thinking it is a shame it doesn\'t come with reaper master colour paints. Seemed to me like the kind of set someone who has already been around the painting scene for a while and completed a few minis would buy. Putting the master colour paints into it would

A. make it more attractive for people like me who are dying to find an excuse to try the new paints out

B. Introduce people to the new paints and entice them to purchase more

I know even if the set had been another $10 more I could have bought it on the spot if it had the new paints. I dunno, I just figure anyone who\'s wanting to dabble in the more advanced techniques is probably starting to look in to the kind of paints they\'re using too

That is a very good point. I wonder why they did not do that. After all NMM is an advanced technique and the Master paints are for advanced painters.

Silly Reaper the Pro Paints are for kids. lollollollol
