Reaper paints?

My fiance loves the Silks and Satins. I\'m still working with them to see how much I like them. They are made to mainly be a transparent wash to give a \"shine\" to things, such as adding a pearlescent sheen to a conch shell.

Hmm..I\'ve been meaning to ask....

Are you aware of what \'bonk\' means in the UK?:D

It\'s generally used in the context of, \"Do you fancy a bonk?\". \"We spent all last night bonking\". \"He/she bonks like an outhouse door\".:D

Yes, I know what it means elsewhere, but it\'s also the name of my Stuffed Mummified Cat.

This is BONK! after a tour of the Reaper facilities wearing a Sophie T-Shirt.

He\'s soft, plushy, and hits people over the head for PUNishment.

That\'s one of the wonderful things about the English language! Between the way it\'s used in the UK and the wway it\'s used in the US, almost everything has an alterior (re: dirty) meaning lol

meaning of bonk....

I have always heard \"bonk\" used as the cartoon type sound effect associated with being hit on the head.

So, when I was \"bonked\" by the bonk cat, it made perfect sense.

Like Dauber says, lots of words have a different meaning (and we speak relatively the same language)
lollol

Now the word \"boinked\" for instance has the same meaning as Finn was alluding to.

But, on the other hand, here in the states just about every nonsensical word is some sort of euphamism for sex.....:D

So there you go, clear as mud.

Way to go: only nine replies and the thread was hijacked by post number 3.

I\'ve not tried the reaper paints but I have the Pearlescent White Acrylic by Windsor & Newton.
The only partial success I had with it has recently been consigned to the \'Dettol\' to be stripped as I made a Henry\'s of the rest of the mini. (Eldar Warlocks what can you do????)

Funny, when I was in college I knew people who would \"globe\" you for PUNishment. Anyone who made a pun got \"globed.\"
The globe was a plush, stuffed, fuzzy earth.lol
