Here is my latest effort. Hit me with the critiques!

Hey I like those tentacles! The face\'head seems to be well defined, but the body appears a bit fat. The base is really good too!

The base is very cool...as is the blending on the tentacles...

That is one wierd ass looking kitty though....

I think the body could benefit from some painted on highlights, especially around the legs....Something like this....

Thats Witchhunters handiwork....he really exaggerates the hair on some of his animals...I wouldn\'t maybe go that far, but it could add some life to that body.

I kind of like the muted palette in the hindquarters. If you highlight up more, keep it subtle... the focus on the tentacles and eyes is a good thing, imho.

The rocks on the base are great! The grass... a few too many strands all the same length.

Hello Jabberwocky!! The phasecat is looking cool - like the base ALOT!!! The tentacles are nicely done, but it is one of the strangest mini\'s I have ever seen!

It\'s sweet nice blends on the tentacles..
I would go with more definition to the body...
Dont go too far but you need itto balance out the brightness of the tentacles....

I tried to get some additional highlights on the fur, but it was sculpted very finely. The basecoat was black, then highlighted with VMC Royal Purple followed by VMC Purple. Any suggestions on what colors for additional highlighting? Or is it just a matter of better placement on the mini or making it not so suble?
