Liquiturd

Inactive ingredients: Liqui, 92%.

Active ingredients: Turd, 7%, (final one percent comprised of typhus, gangrene, cholora, microbes from the sack of nurgle, and love, all in varying quantities).

What exactly is Liqui? Liqui is a mixture of Cipro, Penecilin, Ritalin, corn starch, corn syrup, Iburprofin, and Lithium.

You have heard of Red Bull, yes? \"Red Bull gives you wings?\" Well, not everybody has a problem getting their motor running. Some of us live life in a manic state and we need a beverage that will help us unwind. Liquiturd is that beverage. Liquiturd is guaranteed to put you on your back for the next month. You can be certain that you will get pleanty of rest while you liver, kidnesy, gall bladder and endocrine systems struggle to maintain control of a body that has been shocked with disease. On top of that Liquiturd has an unforgettable taste. Chill Liquiturd for a hot summer treat.:D

Diet Liquiturd removes nothing, but has the added ingredient Mescaline.

Liquiturd is a registered trademark of Barkel Universia.

ps. Yes, the Castrati had high voices. This was the point. Castrate the young boys who showed vocal prominence before puberty could change their voice. It was outlawed, pretty much everywhere, by the turn of the century, but there are phonorecords of the last living castrati. I have heard them. It is a sound unlike any you have heard. It does not sound like a woman, it does not sound like a man, and it does not sound like a boy. It will make your skin crawl.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, diet Liquiturd! Is this available anywhere in NY state yet? This may be the only diet drink I could handle!!

And, it wouldn\'t take hearing a Castati for the whole concept to make my skin crawl. :|~

Ahhhh, darth, our first fight, already!??:( I\'d drink Barkel\'s liquiturd, with no hesitation as to the ingredients, over DIET anything and accept his brake fluid over Mountain Dew...yuck, pooh!! If it\'s not Captain Morgan\'s Spiced Rum and pineapple juice, please bring me a coke!!:D

Well, I could drink a non-diet drink, if you don\'t mind me going into a diabetic coma.

I mean, I\'m sure you wouldn\'t take advantage of me or anything while I was unconscious, right?

*silently hands over Captain Morgan and pineapple drink...*

Yeah, but I bet the Mescaline in that drink would. :)

Oh, do pardon my inadvertent insensitivity, darth. Now it is I, who shall serve you...One, diet Mountain Dew coming up! :D Anything else I can get you?

P.S. Being a paramedic could come in handy, under the circumstance; but I\'d much rather keep you healthy instead!;)

BTW I have a sure-fire method of determining if one is faking an unconscious state!

....you\'re really unconscious!lol BUT if you aren\'t?? I know the area to be quite sensitive and any direct pain stimulus is bound to arouse more than an involuntary yelp. :( Do not worry though, darth, I would never hurt you in either state.

I had a friend who would bite people\'s ear lobes if they got too drunk / out of it...to keep them awake...I always managed to not get quite so drunk around him.

Now, as for your method...I will trust you not to make me ouchie... ;)

No, I would not bite your earlobe...maybe a little nibble and I have never hurt a human soul in my life...I admit to pulling the wings off an annoying fly, once and the front legs off a spider just to watch him fall on his face as he tried to escape, but that was in my younger, rowdy days...What WAS I thinking! ???

reaper rips

there is no dout that someone totaly
ripped ripped of the other. who came first?
i would say the Rackham fig was produced
first since the reaper fig is being shown on
a site featuring newly released figs. The
pose, the sword, both are direct lifts.
could be close enouph for a law suit if any
one cared that much.

Where did you hear these recordings, after reading the book I\'d be interested to hear the actual sound described.

To that end, I did a search on the web. I know all the search engines are tied to commercial partners and such, but I still had to laugh when this came up -

Castrate on eBay
Find castrate items at low prices. With over 5 million items for sale every day, you\'ll find all kinds of unique things on eBay - the World\'s Online Marketplace.

That\'s a unique thing all right... (although I did once see an actual human kidney for sale on ebay, but I think they pulled the sale or something.)

Edit: I found some samples of a castrati singer on amazon - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000000WYS/o/qid%3D984529568/sr%3D8-1/ref%3Daps%5Fsr%5Fcm%5F1%5F1/104-0156939-8320700

Conceptually, Underworld is fantastic. The execution however leaves a lot to be desired.

Though I love Beckinsale I don\'t believe her strength and power in this movie - she\'s just not star quality enough to hold my attention for anything other than as any red blooded American male would [seductive grrrrrrrrr here]. Let\'s just say she\'s no Diane Lane. And apart from some laughable performances and CGI the final design of the hybrid vamp-wolf is a master example of unfulfilled ambition; he\'s neither cool nor scary nor interesting.

The funniest thing in the screening I saw, however, was the fanged Goth kids eating Doritos and Slurpees in the row in front of me. (Hint: a neat way to really appear as a vampire is to refrain from eating in public - it destroys the illusion that you\'re a pack of nocturnal blood feasters)

None of that was true for Dog Soldiers - although you don\'t see much of the WW\'s there still is a great story, great action and even better performances. Some of you will be interested to know that it has been picked up for an American remake (mixed blessing indeed but I\'m hopeful as it will give the original some much needed attention - hardly anybody I know in the States here has seen it)

Back to the stolen idea: having seen that great painted version of Bobby\'s springing thief I have softened towards it cinsiderably and I daresay prefer it to Rackham\'s.

As for the Fianna - It\'s still a bizarre pose that I find unappealing. Clearly people disagree and hence a knock off that\'s worse than the original. But let the market place decide this - I doubt Reaper\'ll get considerably more from that figure on it\'s own merits.

And in Chern\'s example - only the paint and over all trianglur look are copied sufficiently - but not enough to blame the sculptor. The real copy there is in the paint job ... how 2 cherubs and a robe equate to wings is a logic stretch to me ...

...

lollolThats funny...

Not to sound too much like a small town hick...But do people really go around like that? Pretending to be vampires? I thought movies and Jerry Springer type shows were exaggerating......maybe not.

Have you seen Sci-Fi\'s Mad, Mad House? Sometimes I can\'t quite understand how the psyche can just pick up and move the lines of reality. I just started laughing when the \"vampire\" started talking about all of the things that myth has gotten \"wrong\" about vampires. He said vampires are not really killers, they are not afraid of crosses, they are not afraid of garlic, and they can walk around in the sun. ???

Well then I guess vampires actually do suck.

I wanted someone to say, \"uh dude, you\'re not really a vampire. You just need some sun.\"

Seriously though, where is the draw in being a vampire if you don\'t get super powers, you don\'t get to live forever, and you don\'t get to hold the will of the weak in your grasp?

Yeah, hey, I\'m a vampire too, I\'ve just taken away one more thing we do. We don\'t drink blood anymore. And one day a week I\'ll dress like Azreal Abiss in remembrance of the billions of vampires that have come and gone before me. We\'ll do it on Novermber 1st and call it All Saints Day.

ps. to Wren: it says that Castrati is the only one recorded. As I recall there was just one that I heard too. That must be the same one. However, when I heard it it had not been digitally remastered. It had simply been transfered from it\'s old cylindrical phono-record to a 45. With the new technology in sound recording they\'ve probably edited out all of the static, and all of the magic as well.

I heard it at the University of Georgia\'s music library.

There was static in the Amazon sound clips, though I dunno if it was as much as what you heard on the older transfer. When I was doing my search yesterday, I stumbled on a yahoo newsgroup for castrati and countertenors (including modern \'endocronogical castrati\'), and the consensus seemed to be that the singer in the recording was one of the less talented castrati. Though since there don\'t seem to be recordings of any others, I\'d say it\'s a hard comparison to make.

Flashman - thanks for that hilarious image of Dorito-snarfing wanna-be vamps!

(And thanks to Nailpainter, Darth and everyone else for general thread hilarity. :D)
