Here is my latest effort, painted as the poll i posted here suggested to do:

There\'s not much to say, except that I really hate my camera because it seems unable to show red highlights and shadows properly :-(

I\'m glad and willing to answer any of your questions!

I like the red a lot! It looks very smooth and red, not pink or orange. But what I especially like is the pale armour, very nice! And the sword on the back is also great.
The blending on the metal back thing could be a little smoother though, but that\'s the only downside to this mini.

thanx for the comment! yeah you\'re right it may be a little smoother, even if in real life the piece itself is more contrasted, so it seems less out of piece :innocent:

i had some problems with the shield, too: it was plain blank and i had no idea of how to paint it, so i decided to go with a little freehand on it but again all the shadows and highlights are not well shown... i need a new camera :D

Complimenti Luca sei bravissimo!
Just a curiosity and a question: why did you paint mostly reaper stuff? and there\'s some shop here in Italy that sells reaper stuff by mail?

Well... I do paint mostly reaper stuff because i had a large order at reaper store some months ago (more or less 30 minis) so I want to paint some of them before buying new stuff :D ... and they\'re beautiful minis, too!

I don\'t know about any italian store selling reaper minis, but i think that here in europe there are several! the main problem buying in the usa is the tax, but buying in europe you should not have this problem

btw, i\'m glad you liked the mini :D

LC, love your Gerrard. Much better than mine. I think I was intimidated by the large area of the shield with no design. Perfiect spot for freehanding and you\'ve done a marvelous job of it.
