Reaper vs GW vs Adiken vs Citadel vs Coat D\' Arms vs ...colors

Sorry in advance....I\'m pretty sure that this has been asked before, but I\'ll be darned if I could find it in the Forums via the serch engine.

Has anybody got a chart or list that compares the Reaper Pro paint colors to the GW or Vallejo colors. If anyone has the same for Citidel or Adiken or Coate D\' Arms as well that would be very cool.

I\'m trying to put together a spreadsheet that will least each of the Company\'s colors and what it compares to in the other lines. I\'ll be happy to share this with everyone when it is finished, but I need some help finding the information. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

hm i know there is a table for gw, vallejo and coate darms, i posted it somewhere but im not even shure if the reaper colors are designed to match the other ranges, got a free example with my order and it didnt look like it was matching any gw color

Coat D\' Arms, I knew there was another line and I couldn\'t remember it.

And you may be right about the Reaper paints. I have found some of them to be pretty darn close to some of the GW colors though. For example Reaper \"Oiled Leather\" is very close to GW \"Snakebite Leather\". Some of the other browns are close, and the flesh wash seems to be similar as well. I was hoping that someone with better color perception than me has already done the comparison.

If you find that Coate D\' Arms chart I\'d love to see it. I remember seeing one once but I\'ll be darned if I can find it.

go to the articles section at the painting clinic I believe ther\'s a chart for GW/ coat d\'arms colors. But actually they should be pretty close since coat d\'arm use to make GW\'s colors.

The most awesome thing about the Reaper Master series (for me) is that the Violet Red colour is almost exactly the same as the discontinued Citadel Fire Dragon Crimson. <dance happy>

I obviously love that colour quite a bit.

Be neat if there was a chart that matched up the GW/Vallejo/Etc to craft paints, as well. Burnt Umber by Folkart seems to match Scorched Brown pretty well, but it\'s just a hair off... Since I use the Folkart stuff for large bases and terrain, it\'d be useful to know the exact matches.

Reaper\'s Pro and new Masters series do not match GW/Citidel paint colors other than basicly. They are not paint for paint matches. Also, that free sample - if it did not have a name and product number on it...could have been a mis-colored batch that they are giving away. I\'ve got a really nice dark green that way.

Grumb - are you looking to match the ogre colors? I did not do well with the master series paints. I don\'t have enough pro paints to make a comment but the pro paint line is larger.
