Well, I decided to start a WIP section for a variety of stuff after I-have-no-idea how many years since I joined this site! Mostly I will upload projects from which I want constructive feedback and ideas to do better both at sculpting and painting.

The first sculpture I'll post here is practically finished (yeah I just thought about the WIP post thingie AFTER sculpting it ), but I believe that any critique and recommendations can be useful for future projects, and maybe even implemented on this one if possible.

It's a Wild West themed fox gal, 12cm height. Both revolvers are copied with oyumaru from a toy gun.

Thanks KruleBear! with this sculpture I challenged myself to do the best I can... now I must find the courage to paint it (I'm worried that I'll screw it!).

Well, already applied all the base colours, now comes the hard part: highlights and effects such as old leather and worn out jeans (the last two I've never done before).

So I've been painting the leather boots using ideas from the tutorial by Zab (couldn't do everything, I don't have washes and they are very hard to get here at my country, so I just made some homemade) and from youtube videos (thanks again Zab!). I think they look nice, not great, but what you guys say is what matters! Should I add more highlights?

Well, I painted the jeans, shirt, hat and belt, and did some highlights on the skin. Still, everything is subject to change if any info surfaces to correct or to improve any of those!
