recommendation of high elf schemes

Hi, I just bought a set of high elf armies about a month ago, but I haven\'t started painting them yet. And I\'m wondering what kind of color scheme that would accomodate the noblest elves of all. I was thinking about using the traditional white-and-blue style, but the theme is very common amongst high elf players. So maybe you guys can give me some suggestions as to what kind of color scheme that would make my army stand out from the rest of the high elves. Thanks!!!!!!!

I painted a LOTR Elf with a dark maroon cloak and the brightest gold armour I could acheive at the time,I\'m sure this colour scheme will carry over OK to High Elves.The gold will give a majestic feel when deployed en masse in the ranks for chainmail,armour plates etc,and gold is the perfect detraction from the usual silvers associated with the High Elves.Plus maroon is a much more forgiving colour than white,I remember trying to do some old High Elves in the white and blue and I was disheartened by my first 5 or so attempts until I got one that looked even half decent lol Try looking at Astonia\'s gallery,great Elves in there! ;):D

What about instead of using the blue that Games Workshop uses, to go for a more dark blue gray?
For the noblest, you could paint the cloak or other distinctive features in a dark red, which makes a nice contrast with the blue gray.
