recovering GW paint pots?

I had the misfortune of buying a set of GW paints back when they had the crappy screw tops. I got so frustrated with them that I am gradually moving to other solutions, so most of them are either completely dried up now or well on their way. Is there anything I can put in the ones that havent completly petrified to try and restore them?

As to your paint pot woes, you could try a little good old water if they are even vaguely still liquid...otherwise a hammer and another shopping trip might be on the way!!

Try water... and maybe just a little bit of matte medium.

In my experience, once acrylics have dried up past a certain point, it\'s just not worth it to try and \"recover\" them. They\'ll never be smooth again

I poured about 5mm of water into the tops of my GW paints and never shake them. It stops them drying out, but you have to check them every few weeks.
I only use them for basing and scenic bits and pieces now.

If they\'re really knackered, just bin \'em and get some Vallejo....
