Red Wolfen

Posted this over at World of Mini\'s as well but i thought i\'d post it here for comments as well.

This is pretty much my first real attempt at shading on a finished model, in the past i always went for a quick and dirty dry brushing look for gaming rather than display.

Still a long way to go before i can come close to some of the people here but heh...

Anyway so i thought i\'d try painting a wolfen with a red skin, rather than the usual grey\'s, a sort of blood wolfen.

I have some tips for you.. dopn\'t use a glossy red (it looks glossy, but that might just be the pic). more highlights overall. more highlights and contrasts on the nmm.

keep it up :)

Thanks

Its not so glossy in RL, i think i need to find a better spot in the house to take the photos.

Humm, not so sure about the red right now.
It looks a bit to much like plastic to me. Probably needs more contrasts, and it might be benificial to have it in a more natural tone, maybe with some more brown in it...
