:wow: holy cow!

i would have probably given the vote image a 6 or 7 because of its size, but these really made my vote when i actualyl saw them!

i love the dirty little toe-nails and all on them!

i would go blind trying to paint those fine details!

The larger pics do them more justice... :) That\'s rare. Definately an 8.5 from over here..! But a 9 is not far away. Just work a bit more on the metals and make the darklining slightly neater on some places, thinner lines.

I agree the larger pics make such a great difference, and the splashing water is an awesome effect. Great job!

I can\'t believe you\'re not pulling better numbers!

You might want to use bigger pics for the voting, I don\'t think you can really see how nice this is in smaller pics.

I can\'t remember what program you said you were using to edit your pics, but I can show you how to \"cut\" the mini away from the background sometime.

I\'m stuck with corel paint shop pro, and I\'m about ready to shoot myself over it. I should probably repost it.... I don\'t understand... the picture posting instructions said that I had to size down the image to under 200 pixels wide, so I did. But it looks tiny compared to the width of alot of the other things people have posted. What am I doing wrong? Should I have just linked it to the original big picture?

600 pixels wide.

you can cut the background by cropping away the parts that are not mini. then try resizing the images to preserve aspect ratio and just change the width to 600 pixels.

depending on the quality of the pictures you may or may not be able to have them all fit within the filesize. this is 200kb.

give me a little while and i will examine what you have on the vote page, and what you have here and will edit together a picture for you that is closet to your vote image and fits within the allowances for galelry images.

might be about 30 mins to an hour because of me playing around with the blogs here and debugging my CSS on it.

if you can make one big picture, or have the single picture with the images stacked you could try a program called irfanview to help resize it width wise. or jsut to play around with the program. it wouldnt allow much editing but is good for starting out and cropping and resizing images. you will still have to use your current software for combining the images.

well i jsut erased this whole post before even posting it....

seems even the place i was gonna stick this iamge shrunk it to 451 pixels as you can see here.

2e21kso.jpg

but if you cut off the excess around the pictures once you have them in a column then it will help reduce the image filesize without really taking away form the mini.

then when you have the images ready you can jsut resize them making the width 600 pixels and hopefully where you uplaod them won\'t shrinkg them even more.

sorry i wasn\'t able to help much, as i am mad that it was shrunk as above so it isnt any use to you. if only i had another power cable to use i would turn my server on jsut to host the image until you got the one the way it should look. but unfortunately i had to use some rinky-dink free image hosting site to transfer it to you.

this is why i host my images here at CMoN because it doesn\'t fiddle with images that fit within its alloted 600x??? and 200 kb size.

good luck with corel in getting the iamges to the right size, and with photobucket to not shrink them.

honestly i think any one of the single images will do jsut fine, or do like everyone else and post each of those iamges there as its own with the different views.

i would have no problem with being outvoted by dupped minis with the quality of this. it makes me want to throw my paints away so i don\'t make more horrid things to detract from mini painting. lol

well i must be tired because i am rambling....night all.

The new larger photos really show it off well... I love what you\'ve done!

Your work on the base is fantastic and really brings the whole thing together.
