Resin- another primer question

Hi. I finally end the problems with Citadel primer- bought new good can.. but i\'m not sure is it good for priming resin minis ? It is ilyad mini, so it\'s not just resin but resin mixed with metal bits.. anyone know is this primer working with Ilyad minis ?

As far as primer is concerned Resin is Resin. I\'ve painted Forgeworld Resin with Citadel Primer several times with out any untoward issues. (Fingerprints notwithstanding).

The only thing to watch out for is the accidental rubbing of paint off sharp edges when you\'re painting.

it was kinda strange because with my black GW primer i sprayed both ilyad\'s and forgeworld models but

with ilyad it worked really well without need of cleaning the model with water and soap

with forgeworld models it went off just rubbing a little the finger on the armour (and i cleaned my model REALLY well before)

From what I have heard of the Ilyad minis they take primer fairly well.
I would probably be tempted to wash with a mild (anti grease) detergent and dry well before I went ahead and undercoated just to be safe.
