Just saw that Sheppard Paine has died. One of the guys whose work I aspired to match.

I'd seen Facebook comments about his failing health.
Saddened that someone who's work inspired me has died, but still I will always appreciate what he did for us as hobbyists.

Sheppard Paine, Your Peace was well earned. Thank You.

I'd only just discovered all about Shep Paine recently. An amazing talent that if you haven't had the chance to read one of his books, do so ASAP, even things he wrote about in the '80's are still relevant today. RIP
