I think those images are a great improvement! A little glare but try using pure white paper under the miniature and make sure the lamp is not only directed at the miniature but also on the ground and keep those bouncers close to the mini.

Nice work all round! I have to say I like the farseer miniature as well the cloak is looking mighty fine.

Farseer is definitely the best of the bunch. Seems you have the neatness down to a tee, just need to start upping the contrast now, but that will come with more practice...so get painting!
