Well done! 13 GCSEs, eh? We could only take 9, and that was including additional maths if you were in the top set.

yeah it was 9 for us, 10 for the REALLY intelligent ones (i\'m talking top oxford and cambridge peeps, not me!)

Lizcam GCSEs are exams taken at 16 yrs old and are at the end of compulsory education. After that are the A level exams until 18 or 19 yrs then its University after that.

Yep Stay clear of IT in the UK.
1: The market is flooded with IT specialists looking for work or to progress and without Serious Practical Experience most reputable employers won\'t even consider you.
2: If you do get in to IT expect to spend 40% of your time self training to keep up/ahead of the latest changes Microsoft enforce.
Lastly:
3:MacDonalds and Burger King ARE NOT CAREERS. (Unless you have a Modern/Liberal Arts degree)

i got 8 A*s and an A maths, my weakest subject so that all pretty dandy for me. Oh also I have an A in IT that i took in January this year.
I dropped 1 mark out of 200 in English Literature so i\'m specially happy as apparently we had a harsh marker.

@theCadian: How did you manage 13?!!

Well done all!!!
:beer::D

*EDIT* 11 people in my year got all A*s i think....

Nice going, that\'s commitment!
I go to Loughborough Grammar School, next year i\'ll be going to the sixth form there.
I did 2 englishes, maths, we couldn\'t do further maths or statistics, 3 sciences, spanish and french and history. We can only do the more vocational subjects. I did IT in my spare time as well.

I would say that for career advice, don\'t get too worked up if you don\'t know what you want to do. Or if you don\'t get the marks you needed for your dream course, there will always be another way in if you are prepared to do the work necessary.

But congratulations to all on your results.
