Hi folks, I\'m new ish to Cmon, but have been a long time lurker.

Inspired by Spacemunkies article on how to photoshop minis, i thought i\'d give it a go and post the results, and as i\'ve got a few armies on the go thought i\'d maybe chuck some piccies up using my new found photoshop skills!

First up is a falcon from my 1500 eldar army the Folorn hope which i recently used a small section of to compete in \'conflict south\' fairly succesfully:

I\'ll try to get some more Eldar pics up soon (thanks to Klute for the SENNM help) and also all of you over in the painting and conversions board for your advice.

EDIT: all my pics are taken with my tiny pocket size digital camera - cant wait to get a phat camera one day!

Thankyou for the comments guys - its really encouraging just to know someones taken the time to look!

Here are a few more images i\'ve tried to photoshop to presentable quality (err..) today!

Firstly is my Eldar banshee exarch. She\'s one of my favourite models of all time produced by GW, and i had to have her in the army, plus the normal banshee exarch is poor. I wanted her to have the \'executioner\' double handed weapon, so a little converting turned her into this:

secondly are my two favourite models in the army, my converted Eldar warlocks. One of the ideas i pinched from Richard Fielder whilst browsing cmon one winters day, as i loved the pose he\'d made. I love the blase way these guys follow guardians around casting spells, cool as cucumbers...

My final Eldar offering, although there is another 1500pts in my study, is one of two
Vyper jetbikes. I love these models both on and off the battlefield. They share the same SENNM screens as the big tanks, which are all magneticly attached revealing OSL pilots within.

I\'ll post some of my latest WIP spacemarine chapter, the \'hellcats\' later on this evening if anyone\'s interested - here\'s a teaser for now:

I\'ll make you a deal, you Keep the comments coming and i\'ll keep practising my photography skills!

\'Ello Rev!

As a fellow former..ish lurker, vilkommen!
The Eldar vehicles in particular are rather quite sexy I reckon..can I say sexy?
Well I know it\'s not overthe top, but the meaning may be misconstrued and my sparkling (non-existent rep) sullied!
Yes...It\'s a sad fact I\'m somewhat of a non-entity, but I beleive in freedom of speech damnit!...I meant that outburst in the best posible and most tastefull manner ofcourse... *cough*sexy*cough*

thanks for the comments guys.

@ Torn - ye i love my eldar vechicles, they all have naked lady bases from hasslfree minis, the falcon won best 40k vehicle at conflict south

@ provoke - The OSL guys sit under teh SENNM cockpits, i\'ve done sme in blue and some in green cos i like variety lol! heres how it looks (ish..)

The bases i\'ve done like that for 20 marines so far - its hard work but i wanted an infanrty based marine army that looked like it could be on the deck of its fortress monastery or whatever, hence the gothic stone floor and deep red carpet.

here are some more, i\'ve also tried to subtly convert each one in some way so my wife doesnt moan at the rate i get thruogh them and have to buy more lol!

This guy is jumping back shooting gribblie monsters:

This guy is my fav posed marine at the minute - he\'s diong the whole \'stop\' thing with his fist while he surveys the enemy through his bolter scope:

and of course - the obligatory clint eastwood pose :):

more as i finish them - comments always welcomed.

@ Supervike - thanks!

I\'ll keep posting pictures of the hellcats as i finish them.

not at the moment, but i have at least another 15 to do so i\'ll take some pics as i do them, it wont be for a week or so though.

I do have some pics of some spare helmets i was playing around with for my plasma gunners - what do u think?

Here are two of 4 guys in quite cool poses i\'m doing atm ( i batch paint in groups of 4)

This guy i tried to emulate the new SM techmarine \'walking pose\' I dont think i got it entirely but i was pleased regardless:

And this guy cracks me up, i\'ve modelled the \'carpet\' on his base to have the corner upturned, and he\'s tripping backwards over it lol - it made me laugh anyway:

I\'m on holiday in Devon this week, so cant work on any marines :( but i\'ll give you some unpainted shots when i get them!

thanks for the feedback

How do you paint the MArines they\'re awesome!! The conversions are subtle but really put them apart from the Bog Standard \"I\'m going to shoot you\" marines you see. The Eldar are cool as well.

thanks for the feedbak guys.

@ GobboTeef: Basically i watch loads of action DVDs with the missus - and anytime i see a cool looking pose i think \'i could do that\'! and turn a space marine into that pose the next day!

its really not that hard if your good with pinning (which is really easy to learn) and basic greenstuff filling (also easy to pick up)

sometimes they look shocking and i have to start again though!

here\'s the latest 2 - both veteran sgts;

as alway i love your thoughts and feedback!!

I\'ve also posted a couple of pics on the cmon main site this week if anyone wants to vote or comment!

cheers
