Good game today at the Alley Cat. It was Ronin vs. APAC vs. Dravani.

Set Up: 4x4 board, indoor with rooms and hallways. Each player sets up in a corner. 5 objects need to be retrieved, 2 require hacking and the remaining three can be carried. 500pt crews.

Game: The Ronin and their Espers (Ronin Mage) Jaunting Express were pretty quick to retrieve two of the carried objects and safely got them back to their zone. The Dravani quickly grabbed one and brought it back home. My APAC weren\'t very quick to get to objectives at first.

The Dravani fielded a varied crew, most notably the Dynamic Duo of Grimalkin and Lilith (Dravani Hierarchy). I must say that they are a handful. Lilith and her Zombie bodyguards took many rounds of joint Ronin/APAC assaults leaving her on fire/dead/not-dead, before she finally kicked the bucket. She\'s a monster in close combat, particularly when she\'s enraged! And her Zombie-mill of death makes dieing near her even more dangerous. She turned several enemy models who were unlucky enough to die near her to zombies during the game. Grimalkin took two full rounds of an Enforcer team with shotguns (APAC gangers) before he failed his fatal roll. If he hadn\'t, I think I might still be there plugging away at him. Luckily, the Ronin and Dravani started hammering each other right away, so I was able to pick my attack points.

The Ronin were having a very bad day with my Bishoujo Senshi (School Girls). Misgivings and Catlike were in full effect against his Shootists, Brick (Minigun toting), and Maven (Ronin Leader).

I was able to hack one object, Ride-the-Storm an Arashi (APAC Mage) to tie up the lone Souless (Dravani Whispy Ghost-like Leech) protecting their object, and flew Hitomi (Named Battle Suit Leader) over to the Dravani deployment zone to steal their object. After Gimalkin fell, my Enforcer team was in position to move in and blast the hell out of the remaining two Ghosts (Ronin Hackers), which had the final object.

I lost track of how many rounds we went, but it had to be in the 7-10 range. We went at it for about 4 hours. I love indoor battles.... very \'in your face\' bloody combat!

Sounds like a fantastic game Chris!

Grimalkin and Lillith have to be my favorites, in terms of looks and \'fluff\'. I don\'t know much about actual gameplay, cuz I\'ve never actually...you know, played....

Still, I\'d love to see any pics you have on this!

Thanks for the report, they are always fun and inspiring to read.
