RFC Please

So i went to bed SUPER happy last night with my new mini at 8.2 and woke up still REALLY happy at just over 7. But nobody\'s commented so here\'s my request for comments on my Diseased Son marine.

i know the picture\'s a little dark, but i unfortunatly had to rush it as my sister was stealing her camera back from me (long story). i\'m really more concerned with how my painting/sculpting/modifying abilities are coming along, as i\'m still making the jump from gamer to painter, rather than my photography BUT i\'m still working my darndest to make that top notch too.

What do you think? You can leave comments here, on the mini or PM me. And special thanks to everyone who\'s helped me with this or any mini and ANYONE who\'s ever writen an article here (i\'ve read and re-read them all... HUGE help).

I think the conversion is stronger than the paint job, but thats good too. The blade looks spot on, but I find the big orange mouth on the gun distracting.
Overall 7.5 (I rounded up voting )

I agree with Trevor. The gun clashes with the rest of the mini. Paint it like the back (watermellon style) and give it glowing eyes too.

Up your photo skills and you\'re looking at another half point IMO.

I really like the conversion work and the painting is coming along nicely. I really like the two heads merging or splitting (whatever they are doing) very disturbing!

Yeah, i knew i was taking a gamble when i broke the color theory. You know how Nurgle normally have those little monsters hanging around them... for a lack of a better word i call them their pets. Well, i didn\'t have room on the base for one because of the fallen loyalist, so i made his meltagun morph into his pet by the forces of Chaos. But it shouldn\'t look orange (must be my poor photo work) it should have a flesh look to it. To be honest, i was just trying to break into the 6s for my first time and went crazy doing face sculpt after face sculpt, practicing NMM on old style bolters and stuff like that. So i\'m super happy that i\'m getting as good a score as i am. You guys are progressing minis way faster than i can learn, but it\'s good to know when your work\'s appreciated.
