Top Gear is all about fast cars. When you drive something quickly, you stand a very good chance of damaging yourself and they (the presenters) all know that. Bollocks to it being a stupid stunt. I bet Hammond was champing at the bit to do it.

Just been on the news that he\'s talking today and is perfectly lucid. He\'ll be back behind the wheel in no time.....

News this morning suggested that he walked a small distance yesterday. Clarkson told him he\'s a shit driver. It got a good laugh apparently lol

Don\'t get me wrong - I don\'t mind Clarkson (I know - he\'s a smug, pretentious git) but he IS quite clever and fairly funny.

But I like the Hamp-meister more.

Lets hope the BEEB don\'t pull the plug (On the show NOT Hammond!!!!). I suspect they will be back and the item makes it into the show, crash and all!!!
