Hi Folks,

I hope we are all well

Been a busy bean for a while, on new drugs for the belly and iron tablets as apparently my levels were in my boots, so a more energetic painting hobbyist i have become!

I have almost finished the army, just got 1 squad to finish which i will get done on Sunday after the malaysian F1

I feel i have done quite well to get this all done in just under 2 months, okay the high level details are missing, like edge highlights, and some shading etc, but i made a compromise between details and the fact i wanted to get some playtesting done before the tournament, so i am happy with the results, basically a high end tabletop finish rather than display.

So a few pics (on a handy tea tin!) of the finished squads and dreads.

Rightm, played a few games with the army and made a fairly big change. for the same points as removing a squad of termies, i can have a fortress of redemption with twin linked icarus lascannon and large blast st8 ap3 missiles, all firing at BS 4 and belial makes the icarus cannon target shot if he rolls a five, i.e. i can sniper characters in squads with an ap9 s2 twin linked 96" range shot!

So its a bit beardy, but i felt made the army much more flexible as it gives skyfire and interceptor.

So this is the army i will be taking to the tournament on friday.

Beardy yeah, but it looks cool so beard away! Nice job on the whole army though I still can't get over those new hoodies on the Deathwing Knights - won't the real slim shady please stand up, please stand up... Lol ~sigh~ Again, fantastic paint job!
