Working on a few bits and bobs just now.

I completed a small tutorial on how i do my metallic gold mix of old eavy metal techniques, some new paints and practice, was cool doing a first blog though. Have a look if you fancy, though probably not much use to folks on here

I am also doing a commission that needs some bases made, so i am sculpting an old style cobble base.

Thank you for sharing your approach to gold ^^
As you mention I have also found that adding a hint of purple on it's shadows makes the gold "pop" much more, also when trying NMM!

Hi all,

House move is less than a fortnight away, so bit hectic just now. Havent boxed up my painting stuff yet, will try and hold off till latest.

Grabbed a triumvirate of the imperium box as models are to nice to not paint.

Biggest thing just now is sorting out my tutorial class up here for budding painters wanting to learn more, quite scary as its first time i have taught people that are paying me..... wibble !

Cant wait to build my new workroom in the new house though, shall be bespoke for me

Completed a few commissions recently, last before the house move, a 1:6 scale vinyl Kryten figure from red dwarf and 2 28mm figures i believe may be reaper brand.

I sculpted the mask on the druid and added a top knot, the lady with the scythe was as she comes, but i made both bases at clients request.

Hi Lee.

Not yet, got a nugget of an idea about it though.

We move house in a week so can't do anything yet.

Plan is maybe a single fig entry and a vehicle, all i could realistically do in time frame.

It's all a bit up in there with regards to the house move. Spent an unhealthy amount in b&q today on wood for the under shelving and legs/frame of work desk.

Cleared out a lot but it needs gutting now to start putting wood on.

Lots on though, got my first teaching class in 2 weeks :S. Then I've got a display commission coming in, and in May it's local comic convention where I have a stand, need to paint lots of miniatures for sale, and a week later is Golden Demon.

Not even started GD entry yet....I may go mad.
