Ridiculous to Sublime

Yay finally after three months on and off in numerous configurations of characters I finally completed Scenario 1 (Solo). I was determined to play it until completed and not progress until such time.

I then played Scenario 2 (again Solo) and apart from a ridiculous mistake on my part which required me to sacrifice one member to delay the Abomination I finished this really quick it seemed after Scenario 1 too easy.

Scenario 3 is currently half way through and and whilst I am only at 34 skill level with one character and the others are in various yellow experience levels I can see, barring a bad shuffle resulting in mass "walkers move again" cards that this too will be a win.

So a question is it just my experience from playing the harder scenario so much making these next two seem easier? Am I playing them wrong (which would be hard for you all to answer as you haven't seen me play!)? do the scenarios get harder again from 4 on-wards?

I am still enjoying the game just want to know if others have experienced this also.

Joker, are you also on BGG? There are numerous threads speaking of the inconsistency in the difficulty of the official scenarios.

1 and 5 are considered the hardest. 2 is a joke, 10 is well balanced, etc..

You shouldn't worry about it though, they're not built in a campaign style anyway. Just try each of them as you go and rate them. The most fun I had where on the new published scenariis myself. The only two I like from the book are the first (if I feel like taking a beating) and the last(if introducing new players to the game)

Cheers guys, Shoogoo unfortunately BGG is blocked at work something about "Games" sites being a blocked category! CMON however no probs (probably classed as painting or minis)

Anyway I get to BGG on weekends so will have a wade through and read the forums there. I'll play through the book now I have cracked Scenario 1 and look forward to the GG additional scenarios.

I can't believe you beat you head against City Blocks until you beat it, JokerOx!

Playing solo?
And with only 4 survivors?

If so, that's impressive!

Scorp, I made myself a deal not to move on till complete and I was starting to wonder if perhaps Zombicide for me was destined to be just the one scenario (I am stubborn, or so the wife says).

I deal out a random bunch of survivors each time and given the comments requiring Wanda to increase your chances of getting through I wasn't expecting too much given I had Dave, Amy, Ned and Doug. I was lucky though in that I used Amy's move to open the doors at Blue level (all but one) Dave and Ned teemed up and got a couple of Molotovs early on and in our dash to the end we managed to score two more allowing the number of walkers appearing to not generate additional movement, unfortunately Dave was last seen wielding a chainsaw holding off a horde whilst the other three made the dash to freedom.

Ah... The honourable sacrifice - 'tis often the key to victory.

And, as I said, I am impressed, sir - I've yet to beat City Blocks, even in multi-player 6 survivor games.

Though, I've not actually played it very often (perhaps 3 or 4 times, out of a total of 30 plays, so far).

Yeah, I'm impressed as well. I wouldn't even try 01 with 4 survivors ahaha. I've beaten it with 6 though, and felt good.

The one I never did manage to beat is 05, I think it's cursed for me. Tried it 3 times.
