Righteous Zeal and Grenades

Lost in the desert
Hi All,

I'm just getting back into 40K hobby (not questioning that with the price rise and GWs decision to not let Maelstrom games not sell outside of Europe!!). I have a BT army on the go - table top quality only - and still with the mould lines.

I was playing probably the only other person in Qatar last night for 1,000 pt game. We're both new to 5th ed so we're still finding out feet.

Here are a few things that we got stuck with.

Righteous Zeal
The second paragraph states:
In the Shooting Phase, any Infantry unit (not Jump infantry) that is not Pinned or Falling Back (this has been changed in update 1.1) must take a Morale check if it suffers and casualties from enemy shooting, not just when it suffers from 25% casualties. All other units in Black Templars army check Morale and fall back as normal. Note all Black Tempars units take Pinning tests as normal.

It's the
All other units in Black Templars army check morale and fall back as normal.
that is confusing me/us.

Does this mean that every unit I have on the table takes a moral check when I suffer any casualty? Or they just carry on as normal and take any tests they may be called upon when needed? Or is there a third option I've not thought about.

Grenades
Can you still throw grenades? If so where are the rules in the book?

I'd appreciate any help.

no you cant throw grenades any more. the only way a grenade flys is by a launcher. and im not sure about the black templars special stuff but i understand it as, you only have a squad take a moral check if they get 25% casualty's from enemy's in the shooting phase.

As long as it's an infantry unit and this particular unit takes casualties. (Unit B doesn't need to test if unit A takes casualties) The definition of infantry can be found in the Rulebook afaik. All other (non infantry) units test as usual (only if they take 25% casualties or more).

Wrong. The special rule alters that (at least for infantry units)
