I painted this guy for a challenge over on WAMP, and the theme is "Look at my hat". So I tried to keep the bulk of the mini looking a little samey and such to try and keep focus on the hat. As always, fire away any crits. The last pic is my fav.

nice work scott. i think you could darken the dark areas on the coat a bit. is the base yours or a pre made one?

I love the richness of the clothes...How'd you achieve that? Do you glaze with ink?

That face is especially expressive as well.

I'm just distracted by the sculpt, it doesn't say Rincewind to me at all And that hat is horrible. I guess my view of the character is rather fixed though I've been reading Pratchett since Dave Langford reviewed The Light Fantastic in his WD Critical Mass column

Tidoco- Much appreciated, this is my first from the range, and while I liked the mini it had the accursed mold line running throught a freakin' eyeball. I was VERY unimpressed by that. But still fun, and I WILL pick up some of the others.

Freak- It's a pre made base from MicroArt. I picked up soem when I bought these figs off them. Based quality was OK, but I would still rate Dragon Forge as nicer quality.

Vike- Yep, a little bit of ink. I also find that the GW washes don't really dry super matte, and a lot of that effect is on the mini too.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys. Love 'em! And yeah BPI, I can see your point but for me the only discworld look I know is the Kidby look which I think this does a good job of emulating. TY Gang!
