There passes a very funny war-gamer. I shnarfed my first pop watching reruns of Mork and Mindy at the cottage as a kid.

Damn, I always found him to be a great serious actor, better than his comedy roles.
I can understand the problems of struggling with depression as that is something else we shared.

I will remember with pleasure the evening he outclassed Terry Wogan on the BBC, taking over his "Chat Show" to the extent that Wogan was left silent for the whole proceedings.

Loved him in:

The Fisher King
Moscow on the Hudson
Good Will Hunting
The Birdcage
Bi-Centennial Man
Aladdin

Loved him with Whoopie and Billy Crystal in the "Comic Relief" specials

When Christopher Reeve was paralyzed after his horse accident,
Robin Williams quietly committed to take care of all Chris' medical
bills for the rest of his life. That says something.

A sad loss......

:(
Got to add to that list:

DEAD AGAIN
INSOMNIA
ONE HOUR PHOTO

It seems a common factor that so many people with serious depression are great at comedy.

Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
Just saw this as I got up before leaving for work and hoped it was a hoax, but the radio was doing lots of tributes.

Very sad, shall watch TOYS tonight in tribute, a lesser remembered fave :(
