Hallo everyone.

Before i start posting in this great community let me introduce myself to the CMON-World.

My name is Roland, i´m 44 years old, married to a great wife and dad of two lovely kids, and i´m coming from a town called Wels in Austria.

I´m new to figure painting but i used to build WWII tanks for several years. In Janaury i took part in an excellent painting-workshop of Jarhed in Augsburg. If you ever have a chance to join one of these - do it. This showed me once more that i want to quit the cold steel modelling and switch over to fleshtones and all types of colors besides panzergrey and tankyellow.

I´m generelly interested in fantasy and historical miniatures (ancient till medieval).

I´m looking forward to joining this great community and hope to find some help and friends here.

I suspect we are all great people in this community I had a class with Fernando Ruiz last year and as well as being educational it was one of the best weekends i have ever had because he and everyone in the class were really fun and funny and friendly!

As you would love to learn from Roman i would love to learn from Fernando. Once there was an 1 hour workshop of him in Mosonmagyarovar-Model-show but sadly i could only stay for some minutes there - but enough to realize he is a nice and friendly guy. And we don´t have to talk about his painting abilities :clap:

Welcome to CMON. I too, was recently attracted to miniature painting. (Fall 2014) I had built and painted model railroad scenery and buildings for many years. With the variety of miniatures available, I have found this new hobby to be lots of fun.
