Nice one! :) a close-up on the face would be nice though.

i like the freehand even if I think the lines could be a bit straighter :) The work on the armour is also very nice and the scratch-built base is almost my favourite part of the model. Did you do the fern out of paper? i think the reds could use a bit more work. It needs some more contrast and seemed a bit streaked. Good work. 8.5

This is a beautiful piece.

I\'d love to see the armor and the flesh a little closer, just to see how its done; but at the distance its presented, it looks excellent. The flesh wounds are technically convincing as well as aesthetically a great addition. That\'s a great shield too. Yeah, the lines could be a little cleaner, but it is overall a very powerful statement of freehand ability. :)


The whole setting drawn together and completed by the scenic base makes it a very solid piece. Great tough in sculpting the natural elements.
