lol, i knew this title would attract some attention. however this thread does involve a daemon, and he probably has done something naughty. This is my first attempt at sculpting armour, what do you think (please bear in mind that the model comes up to the photos knee!)

thanks

Bloody false advertising :flame::mad::flame:

the armor looks good just he reminds me more of a werewolf then a demon maybe some horns and/or spikey bits will bring out a more demonic side. but from what I can see what you\'ve sculpter looks good :)

well he was a kind of anubis/werewolf like to begin, but yeah i will add some horns to his back, as it is a little plain ATM.

Aye gotta say he more Daemon of the dog pound or something ATM. Bigger fangs or more rows of teefuses, broader shoulders (GL with that) and perhaps a more menacing pose... Not much:D

well he is just meant to be a bloodletter herald, but i will try to add more defined teeth and other things. cant really do the whole wider shoulders, but I may have a go. as for the pose, there isnt much i can do so it may have t stay the way it is.

if he\'s to be a herald perhaps adding something to his off hand that fist is pretty perfect for easily adding him holding something, maybe mass of chained together skulls/heads or a banner either of those could add to his demonosity and the greater deamon of khorne does look like a dog with roid rage so the wolfen theme fits a khorne demon, but deffinatly some spikes/horns out his back and maybe one off the shoulder pad. Alot will also be able to be done when ya paint him red wolfs always end up lookin more demon then werewolf.

And what you\'ve done with the GS so far is lookin good lol specially since I seem to have a tuff time just filling a bloody gap with the stuff :p

thanks for the kind comments, i have added a second (smaller) axe to his empty hand, ts difficult to fit much in tho because the hand is roght next to the leg. will add pics in an hour or so.

Nice, I\'ve never tried making a weapon from scratch but that looks to be a good start, only thing I would suggest is adding some grip detail to the hilt and maybe a couple rivet/bolt looking bumps to give the head a lil interest or a spikey bit on the back. I think once the handle gets a lil work it\'ll look right at home :)

The armor does not look manufactured. This is a common problem when using green-stuff: The putty\'s edges tend to look organic rather than metallic.

What you need is a smoothness and evenness that is difficult to achieve with a scalpel. Rather I suggest a Dremel tool or Files to sand it down a bit- this gives you a look that is a lot more manufactured and less organic.
