Rotating Display Thing..!?

Hello folks!

I'm seeking some guidance; I'd like a rotating display thing to help with videoing some miniatures, like a turntable I guess, so I can keep my DSLR stationary but have the figure rotate slowly on the display thing. I've had a look online and found one or two such things for displaying jewelry etc. but thought I'd consult a more specialist crowd such as yourselves to see if anyone has any useful recommendations or experience with this kind of display?

Any useful guidance would be much appreciated

Personally, I'd just take several shots and collage them.

I picked up a jewlery display works great, pretty much the same thing as on ebay there.
