Rules for miniature skirmishes?

Hey all!

it\'s been awhile since I have gamed anything or bought a rule set. So I have a question. I have countless fantasy figs from many manufacturers. Is there any rule set that allows a person to play a fantasy battle with oh say reaper figs for example? Just looking for something fun to play with all my many Reaper figs.

There are heaps of skirmish rules out there. There is \"lego wars\", \"Teddy bear wars\", Mordahiem (GW), Fantasy warriors (). Perhaps a troll thru google will bring up some more.

Yeppers thankyou I will. Fantasy Warriors sounds interesting. The web is full of rules just wondering what the trend was.

I have GW stuff seems very GWish.

Actually, there is a set of rules out there that I love quite a bit, and they are designed to be generic. It\'s called \"Showdown\", and it\'s based on the Savage Worlds role-playing game (which is great, too, BTW).

I\'ve always found the Mordheim rules from GW are good for a fantasy tear up with warbands between 5 and 15 figures and I use figures from all manufacturers for it too (love Mordheim!)
