I figure I\'ll jump on the wip bandwagon. After night one of painting this fellow....



Leather looks how I wanted it to look. Fur in the back will get a darker shade right in the deep creases. Gray areas with clumsy highlights will get a gray glaze to smooth it out a bit.

I focused mostly on the face and hair tonight. The eyes on this fellow are large enough that I went for blue iris and black pupil, and it seemed to work out ok. I used the blonde hair recipe from another forum post, but I didn\'t have any yellow ink, so I substituted a very selective wash of golden yellow in Future solution, fairly concentrated since pigment was the issue. In the end the hair was pretty much how I wanted it.

I spent a lot of time on a wolf head freehand on the shoulder pad too, but forgot to turn the model to show it off. It\'s monochrome, so no artistic masterpieces here.
