I was hoping to have got this kicked off earlier, but such is the way of Christmas holidays! As discussed in this topic I\'m scratch building an Epic Knight in 28mm scale. I\'ve decided to plump for a Knight Errant, at least to begin with, and now have the initial design knocked up (the wonders of scanners and powerpoint!)
This is a rough diagram to allow me to work out scales and the basic skeleton of the Knight. I\'m going to use this and start to create a basic structure and then refine various parts. For example the lower leg is going to be alot more complex than a pipe and collet
The foot base is also meant to be \'hovering\' as the toes will raise it up off the ground level.
Its come out at 170mm tall by 150mm wide, although I may narrow it down a little. I\'ve popped a block on the pic to represent the height of a 28mm mini.
Hopefully I\'ll get time to actually start building tomorrow.
