:wow:

:wow:

... :wow:

I am shocked. The two top-ranked teams out of the WC. Me thinks that Aussieland vs. England is the surprise quarter-final loss this year. Bloody well done to the poms! Hooray-hooray, cheer-cheer, wot!

Argentina and SA are now the southern hemisphere\'s hopes.

:wow:

Still shocked.

Oh yeah, I\'m happy too, make no mistake! It\'s nice to see SA\'s main rivals taken out, both in one day. Would\'ve been nice to do the job ourselves, but one should never look the gift horse in the mouth.

Now, SA had better not underestimate Fiji.

Aye, but what I\'m thinking is that Aussie over-confidence did them no favours. I\'m thinking that Australia expected to mop the middens with England. Not to detract from England\'s performance - they\'re in the SF, Australia are not - but; South African teams fall foul of that exact same over-confidence.

Well I\'m really shocked. I\'d have put good money (Ok £1.00) that England would have got hammerred by the Auzzies.
Goes to show what do I know.

Englans versus France............Now that\'s gonna be a game!

I love it!

I don\'t normally hop on the whole nationalistic, lets get at one country thing, but the attitude most Aussies show the English when it comes to sport (or most other things in life) makes it so easy to be delighted when we make them eat their big, stupid words! Screw you Australia, you suck! lol

And I\'m only 2 games away from winning some cash too. It just means that France have to beat England on the way, which is a bit iffy to root for!

Wow, two very good matches yesterday! Well done the French. Now the favourites are out, and England might even have a chance of winning :D

that match was awsome, the last 10 minutes of the french vs. NZ game where way to intense for my poor heart. Still can\'t believe we won, I had us written down as goners.
And nice partying in the streets afterwards :)

Fiji gave SA a right run for their money. If they\'d got that ball grounded and got a lead with 10 minutes to go, it could well have been a different story.

Over confidence has already cost the Aussies and Kiwis. I\'d love to see SA take a pasting after seeing statements like that....

France Vs New Zealand was the better game in my opinion the England game was OK but lets face it England went back to their performance a few years ago where it was all kicking. Yesterday\'s game they lived off Australia\'s mistakes.

Fair play, France adopted a similar tactic. They said they\'d kick all night and they did. I think La Porte deserves a medal. I think he had the whole game mapped out. Everyone played the right part at the right time.

I reckon the Argies will roll S.A., providing they get past the Scottish plod machine!

Maybe, but I reckon many of the mistakes were caused by the game England were playing. They bullied the Aussies into panic and made their forwards look positively inept.

Quality stuff! :D

I wouldn\'t like to put my money on anyone after this weekend. The tournament has been thrown wide open.

Seeing Latham attempting that drop goal was a big indicator of how rattled the Aussies were. Same with Berrick Barnes I feel. They were panicking I tell thee!

It was a wake-up call alright. But none of that happened. If Australia had made one single more kick, it would have been a different story. That also didn\'t happen.

Absolutely right, see my comments at the top of this page. I believe that the last is sour grapes, and that you would love to see SA getting whalloped anyway, regardless of my arrogance or comments. Just as I\'m thrilled that Australia got sorted out.

Scotland causing another ruckus and removing Argentina? How much more surprise can we stand? I place no bets on SA vs. Argentina, far too open-ended.
