I dont know wether to laugh or cry, but as its a wet Saturday afternoon in Devon I thought what a perfect oppourtunity to vent my spleen ! :mad: :flame: :mad:

Without wishing to insult Mr PEPAS artistic skills, or even PEPAS himself . I cant help thinking what a sad injustice it is when the TOP mini for the current 7 days is a bog standard kit , just painted.
Not only that ,it is rated higher than an amazing scratchbuilt Giant Slayer.
I saw the Giant Slayer at Euro and it is an amazing model :eek: :flip: :eek: :bouncy:
.
The moral of this tale, :(.......Paint a really good pair of female breasts and have them hanging out and you can beat something on this site that is a real work of ART !

I agree the Giant Slayer should be higher, although pepa\'s work is excellent.

Oh, I think Pepa is female, if I remember rightly.

I agree with you Adie but at the same time let\'s not forget the dominant sector of the CMON population...I think Pepa\'s work is great as well but the giantslayer is more my taste ... (not that I would prefer the slayer to be waiting for me when I got home..)

Also the scores level out the same and the giantkiller has more votes so things could still change..

It\'s good to know we aren\'t the only ones having shitty weather..fricking freezing here.

Not the biggest injustice I have ever seen on the last 7 day scores but a valid point and I hope your day can continue a little brighter for the venting chief......lol

*edit* i actually like her and i\'m not keen on \'tits out\' minis. the hair is superb, as is the skin and so is the great sheer effect.

i love the other one too but the photo isn\'t as good. also bear in mind that you have seen the other one in the flesh so you are biased! lucky bugger

Quality doesn\'t need a good score to be a winner.
Just a set of tits and sexy arse.

Thats why i\'m a winner, although still need to put on a bit more weight before i\'m perfectly happy with my chest.

I can\'t agree wit you here, mate. Nothing bogstandard about that painting. I can\'t really fault it anyway. Great work with the seethrough effect and really nice skincolour. They don\'t need to be converted or scratch to be cool as in coolminiornot.

I have to say I\'m surprised and a bit disappointed with your reaction here. There are a lot of different branches on the hobby trea and I like to encourage them all. Even if the giant slayer is phenomenal (one of my favourite of late) it doesn\'t make Pepas painting any worse. Actually I can find more things in the slayer that needs work paintewise (except the base). A pair of boobs doesn\'t make me or hopefully anyone above puberty to automatically press the 10 button.

i have to agree with avelorn here...
it is a beautifully painted kit, and would be a beautifully painted lady even if her titties weren\'t hangin\' out(not that there\'s anything wrong with that)....
the hair, the shadows on the skin, the transparency...lovely stuff...
i\'m a huge fan of dwarves, but a hot lady trumps a short hairy guy any day of the weeklol...

The giantkiller is alright... I personally don\'t like it though... regardless of how much work went in to it or how clever it is it\'s just not to my taste.

The boobs... well, that\'s not either but I wouldn\'t say it\'s worse than giant killer.

I think both of them are pretty damn awesome, the technique is phenomenal especially the realism on the giant killer and then the transparency on the lady.

I think it\'s more a furher frustration of his thoughts in the limbo world between the historical and fantasy mini painting scenes..

plus you can\'t be surprised by any feelings of gloom he is having after all he is facing a wet weekend in Devon:beer:

Strange. Cold temperatures and rain are always welcomed here (and usually worshiped)! Maybe that\'s because we only get like 10 rainy days a year... lol

I have to agree with both parties here. I really appreciate all the painting that Pepa has done, it\'s an amazing piece. But I also agree with Vincenti about people handing out 10s as soon as they see boobs. I think a lot of the half (or fully) naked females are a bit overrated. But the voting system has all sorts of problems in the first place, and I stopped paying attention to my scores years ago because of it.

The Sun\'s gone down, it\'s bleeding cold, my foxtrotting knee is still hurting like some *****r kicked it with steel toe cap boots, my wife keeps leaving the door open and letting a gale force nine draft through, but Pepa\'s painted pictures Ok.

At the moment the Giantslayer is ranked .1 higher than the booby lady, so all is well. That is a bloody impressive Giantslayer btw :D
