Here\'s one of the current new releases from Wyrd Miniatures. Sculpted by Steve Buddle after a concept sketch by Stéphane Enjolras. I really enjoyed painting this rather excellent mini! :)

I can\'t figure out why the base is so intriguing to me. Seriously, it hints that there is more going on here than you can see. Wonderful.

I think this mini is uber cool anyhow, so that doesn\'t hurt your score...

The funny thing about this one is that although it is a bit of a departure from your usual color schemes (aka DARK)...it still has the trademark Ritual blending and gorgeous smoothness.

Instantly recognizable!

Yet another great job, Anders! The mini is great, and the quality of the paintjob more than does it justice. The colour scheme is perfect, and the NMM... :drool:

Great work on a mini I need to buy! :) Like your experiment with colours. He somehow reminds me of someone who would be a part of discworld, both sculptwise and how you painted him. And that is the best compliment anyone can get.. :D

I am shocked at its score as well. This is the definition of a cool mini and to top it off it is extremely well painted.

beautiful work...
the sculpting is typical of mr buddle lots of character and so unique.
the paint is stuuning so smooth and great tones..
really truly inspirational...

Excellent painting :) But I\'dv got rid of that awful looking pistol :/

It\'s a shame- I think it brings the figure down a bit - but the painting more than makes up for that!!

C\'mon, the pistol is part of what makes him cool!! :D And I can\'t really get rid of a part of the mini when I\'m doing the promotion pictures for it, can I? ;) Well, tastes differ! Thanks anyway! :)

And thanks to the rest of you as well! Actually, I think the score is pretty reasonable for this one. I gave it an initial 9 and anything thereabouts is fair I think.

Voted & commented. Accidentally gave it 9 instead of 10 due to my poor aim. Went back and gave it a real ten. Just realised that only makes 9.5 so I owe you 0.5! :)
