I\'ve always considered it a good sculpt but most of the times I\'ve seen made me think something is wrong with her face.

Now I can see that it wasn\'t the sculpt but the paintjobs, yours really does justice to the sculpt and it\'s my favorite version so far...

I really love it! Good job

Thanks!

As for the back view, of course. But, as I said before, the wings are very blurry; my camera doesn\'t work well with such complex 3d objects in macro regime.

Spacemunkie lol lol lol

My media law professor would regret giving me an A in his course if he\'d read what I\'m about to say now ... But in this case, censorship is better than libel. :)

Oh you were, weren\'t you? You mean that blurry picture with distorted colors, taken in bad lighting through glass from one meter away from the display cabinet? :D Yeah, I agree, even that didn\'t ruin the impression of the miniature ;)

All the piccies were better than I am managing - and they all look good so :p

Margo, if you\'re still reading this... even the deepest shadows on this mini are just hawk turquoise? Nothing darker? I\'m just wondering, I\'ve used that colour exactly once and I really like it, but had trouble shading it w/o just making it dark blue.

@NSA: yes, it\'s plain Hawk Turquoise. The initial idea was to make her armour white, and I wanted to test different colourd for shading. Started with Hawk, proceeded with Ice, and then realized I like the results so much that I abandoned the idea of white armour with blueish shading.

However, I used Hawk on another miniature a while ago in a different way. To shade it, I used Chaos Black and it worked just fine.

I agree...amazingly vibrant red.

As for the rest, it\'s so nice it hurts. But in a good way. Yeah. ;)

you know what i like best about the mini?

the fact that you take the time to tell others how you did it! there are scads of great painters who don\'t say a word and make painting like that seem ever so much more daunting!

so thank you!

and magnificent mini!

I can\'t say it better, and I should not try to. :)
