Hi everyone,

I am coming aswell, I just have to wait with my booking as I have not received my schedule for the fall semester yet. It is 100% though and housing is taken care of. I will most likely be there for a week though and would love to meet as many as possible! It would be an honour to meet up one of the days and spend some time painting with many of you great painters.

I\'m not sure I\'ll be doing much painting while in Paris (unless I should break any of my entries on the way there...), but I\'m all for meeting up sometime before the event.

So far I have slept (late painting session last night), taken a long walk, eaten lunch and dinner, been at the gym, looked at minis online and now I\'m going to take shour and then paint and sculpt!! :)

Tomorrow I\'m hopefully going to photograph some of my minis..

I\'m a very interesting person! ;)

heh I had time to watch the movie \"M\" as well.

But next week I start working again.. :) Maybe summer holidays isn\'t the best time to determine if people are slackers or not? :rolleyes:

I\'ll be booking flight and hotel to both this venue and UK GD next week so I\'ll probably PM a few of you and see if we can coordinate something..

As I\'ve already told some of you, I won\'t be in Paris for Mix Open because I\'ll be in Italy, in Saint Vincent, for Le Petit Soldat show...
Anyway, I\'ll probably meet some of you who are going to Couëron...

Sorry Alex, I won\'t be able to welcome you at home this year...

This year, sign ups for the Mix Open Ravage 2007 will have to be done by the following e-mail, before the wednesday 10 of october :

Why? Because last year we had to do 80% of the sign ups on the spot, which made for some lengthy waits and slowed down the placement of the minis in the display cases, rushes, delays to take pictures, and we only got 2 hours to judge on Sunday.

To make it quick, we would like you to take 5 minutes to pre-sign up, do it for you, this will help us and will be useful for everybody.
Please use this format :

LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, AGE, ADDRESS

Name of mini 1 (or diorama, ...), category.
Name of mini 2 (or diorama, ...), category.
...

Example :
CASSES Julien, 21 years old, 98 Mini Street 0000 No where
Arwen, master painting
Galadrielle, master painting
One shot one kill, master diorama
Lurk, master conversion

etc.. etc...

Here are the following categories : Pure painting, conversion (with or without pure sculpting), and diorama. Each category has 4 levels : master, confirmed, beginner, and junior.

Sign ups will stop Saturday 13th of October at 4PM. However, exceptional exceptions (and I insist on exceptional) can be accepted until Sunday at 12:30.

Likewise, we will take on the spot sign ups, but we insist on asking you to follow the above procedure to help us out with the organisation of the contest.

how late can we leave it? i have one entry but if i finish more, it\'ll be much nearer the time

also, what are the rules for the levels? i think i am a beginner but i don\'t know the guidelines

Well just had a confirmation that my entry\'s are all submitted!

I\'m getting excited for this!
