Yeah... we\'re all going again (the PB/Team Harrow crew)... I have five entries on the go for it now, gives me a reason to paint non GW stuff for a change

But.. everyone remember this time YOU CAN ENTER MULTIPLE ENTRIES IN THE SAME CATEGORY!!!! And, if you\'re Nigel, win two prizes in the same category too!

And yes... bring spending money, possibly leave credit cards at home for fear of horrific overspending.

I went with a plan to buy two or three specific miniatures and came away with two carrier bags full of stuff, about 30 miniatures in total

It\'s a very cool show.

Last years salute figure.


You can enter the same catagory more than once.

seriously though that sounds good - are there competitor guidelines that I have to stick to? It\'s easy for me to attend so I reckon I\'ll give it a wack and try out some of my stuff for GD in advance. cool beans

54mm allowed in single fig fantasy and scifi. Not sure about naything else, no absaloutly massive bases, but fairly large is ok.

The 2008 painting comp was much better than 2007
So hopefully 2009 will be better still
And it\'s a great opportunity to pick up some good figures


As for the competition, there was a bit of surprise among the entrants last year that people were allowed to enter more than one figure in a category, especially as it is a first past the post system with only 1st and 2nd place prizes. So I just had a quick check with Lawrence on the Steve Dean forums and he said they intend it to be one entry per category next year.

Now, I haven\'t seen any official rules or anything, but he was hoping they would be available by the end of December.
