The pictures don\'t really do the piece a lot of justice seen at the actual show in the flesh so to speak it really is a stunning piece of work and well deserved a prize.
Bare in mind though people that the painting comp at salute has about 8 class entries and a young bloods it is mainly a historical show although this year the painting comp had a lot of fantasy enties nad the way the categories are set up there is no seperate class for diaramas.
No I am not trashing this piece of work as I said earlier it was well deserving of a prize but it was the only diarama at the show and in a class with a lot of other entries, including Dragonreach\'s.
And last but not least lets not forget that Peter aka Aviecenna also took a first in one of the categories.
As I said Salute is mainly a historical theme and mainly traders so the painting side doesn\'t get as well supported as it should.
