And here we are STILL making the same mistakes... It was supposed to be the war to end all wars. Not doing very well are we?

I think that all countries should initiate a policy that all the politicians get to go in the first wave in any war, I think we would find a remarkable decrease in wars then. Either that or only allow women to be politicians, again I think we would be better off, as long as they aren\'t called Maggie...

Yes, nothing has changed. The ones who instigate the misery are still safe from it. There has been some progress: bans on chemical and biological weapons, the Geneva Conventions and so on to reduce the horrors of war, but we seem as inclined as ever to march off to it, for causes unjust.

Dont blame the Vets theyre just doing there job. But I like Trevors Idea only I recon you lock the leaders of the offending nation/s in a room and only let one come out. Unlesss they have reach a settlement I guess.

No blame on the Vets (my Grandfather served in WWII like many of his generation), just the idiots that start the wars.

Trevor, I agree with all of your statement except this part. I think we\'ve seen ample evidence recently that women are NOT necessarily more civil, less combative or more forgiving.

i have nothing but the very deepest of respect for every member of my country\'s armed forces combat teams. i can\'t wait to join up and help out. If i wasn\'t expected to be home this holiday season i\'d be active right now.

i look forward to serving and appreciate those who\'ve served before me, both living and gone.
