My quest to get better at painting minis continues! I have started buying custom bases because they look so much better than the plastic ones (the ones from Scibor for example). But sanding down the mini, especially with the larger ones like trolls and such gives me cramps with the small file that I have.
So how do you guys get rid of the metal thing that sticks into the base slot (what is that called anyway?)?
I use a nipper to cut away most of it, but filing it down takes ages. Are there better tools for that?
