The photos might be doing you a disservice, but it looks like he came out chalky in some places like his left leg and face (especially the scar). I would recommend doing something to break up the color across all the armor he is wearing, perhaps a little bit of a rust effect on the chain mail and blackened rivets? The guard on his sword could also be a different color to break up the colors. The fingers on his gauntlets are a nice job in breaking up the colors. Maybe that gold/brass could serve you elsewhere on the model.

I find painting figures that are fully armored to be a challenge to get that depth and differentiation between all the pieces of plate and chain mail. I need to challenge myself to more than just throwing a wash on the figure.
I have yet to really attempt true highlighting just due to nerves. I can honestly see myself repainting to the point of lost detail trying to get it “just right”.
It it also doesn’t help that Sandor is such a plain looking figure, even in the books, aside from his face. No adornments, he just is who he is. An amazingly well developed character tho. Easily one of my favorites from the books and show.
in hindsight, I should have gone with a lighter color for the belt to make it more noticeable, and break up the piece some. Maybe a darker chainmail too, but less sure about that one...
